School bus crash in Northern Minnesota sends 12 students to the hospital

A driver t-boned a school bus in Northern Minnesota on Thursday, causing the bus to spin and flip over. The crash sent a dozen students and the bus driver to area hospitals, according to multiple media reports.

The driver ran a stop sign before crashing into the bus, according to the Star Tribune. The St. Louis County Sheriff said the hospitalized students’ injuries were not considered life-threatening,  Northern News Now reports. The bus driver’s injuries are not known. The driver who hit the school bus needed to be airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries.
